Pros: convenient location to all amenities, good sized kitchen for meal prep and butcher block island, pool, layout/bed and bath configuration, mid century modern, keyless entry, breathtaking views, helpful rental agency staff (Tiffany), and the house book was super helpful!
Cons: the wind (it’s just the area of town and nothing anyone can do about it) . When the wind blows there is a crazy banging sound in one of the bedrooms along the roofline and the house needs a little “attention” but just know you are staying in a mid century modern home and not a house built in 2024.

Overall wonderful stay at Splash Pad PS.

Excellent vacation. House and grounds well maintained. Very comfortable. Only drawbacks were the noise from the planes and the shower in the main bedroom was not strong. Otherwise a wonderful place to stay.

The house was clean, and well kept. The only issue we had was the water pressure is a tad low for our liking. Other than that great house and worth the price.

We had a great weekend! All the art in the house was just amazing! The pool and spa was wonderful! Lots of outside chairs were very comfortable!

I loved everything about this house. Clean, fun, quite, amazing views of the mountains! Comfortable and colorful. Location was great close to everything The yard is completely walled in so my dog was able to explore freely.

The property description of this cute and comfortable home was very accurate and there were no surprises. The house was clean upon arrival and the amenities were more than adequate. For those who like to cook, the kitchen is well equipped and well stocked. This was our third stay with Altamira and we continue to be very impressed with the management customer service. When we arrived there was an issue with the toilets and outdoor lighting and the response time from Altamira was excellent. I had barely gotten off the phone with them and someone showed up right away to deal with remedying the situation.
Travelers unfamiliar with the North PS area should be aware that at certain times of the year it can be quite windy as was the case for our visit. In addition there is very little shaded area outside around the pool. That said we would recommend this property and we would stay there again.

This place was such a hit with our family, the house, the outdoor space, the location, all 10/10! Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend. The only complaint would be the beds, they are rough! We are all sad to leave this amazing house but happy to get back to comfortable beds!

We really enjoyed our stay! Although there were some additional steps and paperwork needed before completing the check-in process, the staff at Altamira made it stress free and simple. Everyone we interacted with was very responsive, friendly, and helpful. We are a very quiet couple and were just looking for a nice place with a pool and spa to spend a few relaxing days and that is what we got! The photos were accurate and we enjoyed staying in such a cute mid-century modern home with interesting artwork.

I can’t say enough nice things about this house. The location is perfect - close to town but tucked away in a cul-de-sac so not a lot of traffic right outside. The house is perfectly appointed - thoughtful appliances, premium cookware and dishes, a fantastic gas grill out back - we stayed in and made all of our meals ourselves. TVs in every room (crucial while traveling with a few kids who don’t always agree). And of course the pool and yard, where we spent 90% of our time! Lots of different options for lounging, fruit trees, pool floats, a perfectly warm hot tub - and a killer view of the mountains at all hours. Overall, this doesn’t feel like a thoughtless vacation rental, it feels like a comfy home someone lent you for the weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

Loved the pool and outdoor space. It was very private and you felt you were in the middle of an oasis. The house is compact but we did not spend much time inside. The neighborhood is safe and we walked around. Not many sidewalks, but we stayed to the side streets. The kitchen pantry was stocked and you had anything you needed for cooking - plates, silverware, glasses & cookware. Nice grill in the back.

Splash Pad was a great spot for our week’s vacation. Super convenient to downtown. The pool, spa and backyard were amazing - would definitely recommend!

Despite unusually cool weather, we had a great week at Splash Pad. The house was tastefully decorated, very clean, the beds were comfortable, and well stocked. The yard had a few different zones and the photos don't do it justice...the view was spectacular and we enjoyed the pool and spa (even though it was in the 60's). We hope to visit again!

Splash Pad is a fun home. It's clean and user friendly. Everything works. The outdoor area benefits from a great views, a nice pool, a hot tub, a fire pit and a lemon tree. The rental company is a pleasure to deal with.

We had such a fun time at this place! It’s kept very clean, has a beautiful backyard and pool for relaxing, and a ton of quirky artwork scattered throughout the property. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to relax in style for a weekend, with easy access to everything Palm Springs has to offer. We’ll definitely be back!

This is a great place in a quiet neighborhood, only a few minutes from any place you'd want to go in Palm Springs. It was perfect for our family of 4 for a weekend getaway. The pool area is the main feature of the house and where we spent most of our time, swimming, grilling and hanging out in the sun. Everything was pretty clean and fresh, and Altamira was quick to respond to any messages we sent. We would definitely return here one day!

The Splash Pad was perfect for a getaway week by the pool. Located very conveniently close to Downtown Palm Springs, a bunch of good restaurants, and a nearby grocery store. Beautiful space and really nice that they allowed us to bring our small dog along!

This is a fantastic place for a family vacation with teenagers. The pool and outdoor areas are wonderful and provide space to spread out to play games, read or eat outside. And Lars is a great resource for restaurant recommendations!

With Covid going on, we wanted to rent a home with a pool. This mid century home was awesome. Lots of art pieces through out and loved the simple, clean decor. They also except dogs which was important. Would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I had a fantastic relaxing week away at the Splash Pad. The home is on a very quiet street and is close to the grocery store and downtown. The outdoor pool area is very private and has a beautiful view of the mountains. The home is well equipped with everything you need and full of fun artwork. This was our fourth time renting from Altamira and we have always had a wonderful experience. Thanks Alexander!

This property was kept clean and had all of the basic amenities. It is in a great location with lots of privacy and quiet neighbors. Other than the art, there were no extra frills, but we were very happy with how well stocked the pool towels were and it was very easy to transition from outside to inside relaxation. The house instructions were easy to follow and we had no issues. We were very confused by the required insurance for this home (and a large damage deposit) as there is really not much to damage or destroy and things were not particularly meticulous when it came to the condition of the house itself.

Wow, what an amazing stay... the house is perfect.... great location, everything is new and clean and super cool art. Having a spa at the house in Palm Springs is such a wonderful extra!
